Step inside the doors of the Coterie Library. For when life feels like it's at full speed and you need a moment to pause, and when life becomes a digital overwhelm of tasks, chores and responsibility. The library is a place born from the feeling of needing space to find yourself, your dreams and your routines.
What started as a personal project, inspired by a moment of uncertainty, evolved into a collection of tactile tools for comfort, creativity and small daily rituals. No apps or pressure. Just paper tools to help you take the first steps back into creativity and life not dictated by apps, screens and doom scrolling.
Let our library assistant, Mamoo the cat, guide you through gentle practices to help you reconnect with yourself and the world around you. We believe in gentle routines that help you feel more like yourself, to give you room to play, create and dream.

What We Create
Our first journal, A Life to Create, blends mindful colouring and gentle prompts to support creative self-connection. All of our paper goods are designed to be used slowly and without pressure.

Founder & Maker
Coterie Library was started by Angeliqua, a designer, journal lover and creative marketer who needed a slower way to reconnect outside of toxic productivity. What began as a personal project became something to share. Every detail, from the paper textures to the page guides, is built from a place of care and lived experiences.
Our Illustrator
Visual Storyteller
The illustrations throughout A Life to Create were hand-drawn by Izzy, a London-based creative who brings warmth, expression and storytelling to every line. Izzy's work brings Coterie Library to life.

Mamoo is more than a character. She's a quiet companion through the pages of our journal, inspired by Marshmallow, the ultimate cosy queen of self-care. Mamoo's story echoes the heart of Coterie Library - taking one soft step at a time. You'll find her nestled in moments throughout A Life to Create.
